2009 Show “Beginnings”

Our 2009 Theme was “Beginnings”

Olive Tree Arts, a ministry of Christian Fellowship Church invited all area artists to thematically explore the visual and spiritual richness of the biblical narrative of Genesis chapters 1 thru 3 through the creation of new and original works of art in their preferred style and medium. No entry fee was required for artwork to be considered for entry in the exhibit. Artists were encourage to enter one of the following divisions: Artists Community (18 and up), Collegiate Division (currently attending a college or university), or Scholar Division (ages 12 to 18). Each artist was allowed to submit up to 2 entries with only 1 entry per theme, of the artists choosing.

Themes available for submission are listed listed below with each themes accompanying passage:
Themes: creation – Genesis 1-2:3
paradise – Genesis 2:4-25
paradise lost – Genesis 3
the seed who will crush the serpent – Genesis 3:15
